Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
My absolute favorite cranberry sauce. This sauce converted many of my family who were "cranberry jelly with the can molded look" lovers into cranberry sauce fans.

World's Best Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
I also cut back on the amount of whipped topping I added to this recipe. It was easy and good but it was a little too fluffy/soft. I prefer a key lime that has a thicker consistency, like a cheese cake. I would recommend using about 1/3 of the whipped topping otherwise it over fills the pie crust and isn't firm enough.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
Great recipe! I followed others suggestion to brown in pan but back at 350 for about 30-35 minutes for the remainder cook time. I also mixed the wine sauce and poured it over the chicken for the last 10 minutes of baking. It turned out perfect!

Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This is a tricky recipe if cooking with out a thermometer to get the temp on the eggs, if you over heat the eggs you end up with cooked egg bits in your otherwise smooth mousse. After the second attempt I was able to make it perfect. It's really rich and worth the extra effort over the "quick and easy" alternative recipes that call for using pudding mix.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This is my most requested dessert. I sometime double the cake portion for a thicker cake and reduce the sugar in the whipping cream because it is a little too sweet. I've also lightened the calories in this recipe by using reduced fat milk, reduced fat evaporated milk and using fat free whipped topping instead of whipping cream. I did it for someone on a Weight Watchers diet. It was still good just not as good as the original

Swiss Steak Quick and Easy

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
The mushrooms and onions were a little overwhelming so I reduced it my second time making it. It's a family favorite but we prefer serving it with rice instead of egg noodles.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
DEEElicious! My son loves this recipe and he's a picky eater. I did have to add a little flour as it was cooking to thicken. This is great for leftovers if you add some milk to it and microwave.
