Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
With or without the rum, this is a wonderful recipe!! I use it all the time for all kinds of sweets!! A little note: if you refridgerate it for 4hrs or overnight, you can use it for a chocolate truffle! It's so yummy, you just use a melon baller and scoop up some of the chilled ganache and dip it into any kind of melted (slightly cooled) chocolate, let it set and you have a melt in your mouth truffle :)) Enjoy!!

Ok, now this bread was down right FANTASTIC!! I've never had this bread until now and I am hooked!! I love the warm, rich, & sweet flavor of this bread. The whole house smelled divine!! My kids LOVED it, all three!! That's saying something, I think they are the pickiest eaters around ;D We marveled at the soft moistness of it....OH YUM!! Oh yeah, we sprinkled a little butter-cinnamon-sugar mixture on the top before baking, DOUBLE yum!!

Mom's Ginger Snaps

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
These were terrific!! My first time making them, i've only had the ones from the store. I like them to have more of a 'ginger-y bite' to them so I will add more next time. The texture was chewy in the middle and crunchy on the outside, I loved that!! In all a fabulous recipe to me! Me, my kids and family gobbled them up for Thanksgiving. Thanks for this recipe :))

Crusty French Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
This is a fabulous recipe!! I make all kinds of breads & this is going in my bread section of my cooking book :) It's great all by itself or if you want more flavor, try this.... I added 1/4 cup of grated parmasean, romono, asiago cheese while my kitchen aid was mixing in the last cup of flour. After all the risings & egg wash I sprinkled on some more of the grated cheese and a herb garden seasoning I had. The flavor is wonderful...not too much at all . YUM if I do say so myself! :) I'm planning on using it for a bruschetta tonight!! Thanks for sharing the recipe :D OH and one little tip for those who felt the bread was a little dense, try letting it rise longer. some times the yeast just needs more time to work.

Ron's Bread Machine White

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This bread is FANTABULOUS!!!! I have made several loaves and every time me, my husband and 3 kids gobble it right up!It's soft and scrum-diddly-umptious!! It reminds me of this bread we used to get at a restaurant back home in MI when we went christmas tree shopping...brings the memories right into my kitchen. I dont bake it in my bread machine after the dough cycle, I pour it into a greased bowl and let it rise for 40 mins and then punch it down. pour it onto a lightly floured surface and knead into a loaf shape, plop it in a loaf pan let it rise another hour and bake it for 25 mins at 350F. brush the top with butter and eat right away!comes out perfecto every time :) Thanks for this superb bread recipe!! It's a keeper!

Cinnamon Spiral Bread

This was very yummy tasting, but dry for my taste. I'm guessing that's how the texture is supposed to be :) This was my first time making it. But it's going in my keeper pile, so as to master my desired taste ;D Definately try it!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
LOOOVVEED IT!! This was simply easy! I made it with my three kids, they had a blast throwing it up in the air ( so did I!). You can leave it as is or spice it up! Perfect either way, we tried whole wheat flour and bread flour, they were all great!! It was my first try ever making pizza dough and I don't feel the need to try any others!! Thanks for this wonderful recipe, we'll certainly use it over and over!!!!
