I made this recipe exactly as written, I added walnuts but then read that pecans would be great. Next time I will try the pecans, though the walnuts were good too. Awesome, sweet and flavorful. A good comfort food dessert!

Dave's Low Country Boil

I made this for new year's eve and it wss a big hit! I had to go find the copy cat spice for Old Bay as we don't seem to have it in this part of Canada. I will be ordering it though. I like the sausage mix with the seafood, and the relaxed atmosphere the newspaper, paper plates and beer creates. It's a keeper at my house. Plan to use it in summer when corn is in season for a back yard event. Thanks

Easy Fruit Dip

This is available whenever I buy my weekly fruit. Kid's love it. Added a little green food coloring for alien dip. The marishino juice is great as well. We also like it plain. Great addition to make fuit more appealing to the kids! Thanks

Fruit Dip II

Great dip for strawberries, bananas, peach slices, and pears. We added a little green food coloring and the kids' loved it as alien dip. the marishino juice was a hit as well. Good with just the cream cheese and marshmallow cream as well. I make it everytime new fruit comes into the house, always available for the kids!

Pirates' Pork Chops

These are great, and yes the longer the dough sits the better they are. I wouldn't change a thing. I serve my turkey a la king on them, have also used with a hearty soup for a nice winter meal. excellent!

Turkey a la King

This has become our traditional holiday leftover meal between Christmas and New Years. Kids love it as well. I have served it with home made buns, bread, and on occasion noodles. very good

New Red Potato Salad

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

This salad has so many flavors that blend. We enjoy it with bbq'd meat along with a potato salad when friends drop by. Always a hit! Kids like it too.
