Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
I have been making my own cranberry jelly for years now. I have always used a whole bottle of Riesling and a few herbs, but this was simple cheap and delicious. I love tart cranberries so if you would like them sweeter make sure to add more sugar and maybe some vanilla to dull the tartness.

Delicious! I pureed my sweet potatoes and it was almost like a souffle. Not to sweet just perfect. If you like sweet potatoes you will love this.

These are really nice rolls. They are definitely sweet, that is what my husband asked for and they were exactly what he wanted.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
I made this for my daughters Principal and it was a hit. My only addition would be, definitely give your self a day in advance it sets better and stays looking nice. I happen to think the flavors develop so much better when you give it a good four or more hours to set.

OH my! So good. My husband and I can't imagine eating anything but home made after making these. We used Turkey Franks and they were great.

Peanut Butter Oat Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
This is a good recipe, I cut the sugar down by 1/4 cup which was good. I will make it with half the sugar next time and half the butter also. I felt that they were very greasy. But a good start.

Snowballs

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
I have made these a few times now and they are wonderful. I was trying to find a recipe for my Father-in-Law that resembled cookies his mom used to make with the pecans off their tree in Texas and I was successful. Thanks for sharing!

So yummy and moist! I added white chocolate chips for a surprise (my husband loves white chocolate but doesnt care much for pumpkin, so I compromised =)) I liked it both ways sweeter with the chocolate.

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
This recipe was wonderful. I didn't use bacon, just half and half olive oil and butter to make up for the grease. I also added beet greens to the saute pan and they added wonderful color and more depth. I used chicken stock not broth. It was easy and delicious. I will be making it again. Also potato cubes should be about an inch to make cooking time right.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
This was wonderful! It is simple and easy and you can put your own spin on it. Instead of parsley you could add crushed peppercorn and do like a Steak au Poivre, with fettuccine or something. Anyway we loved it.
