Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
Tried it without the mushroom soup, and just went with onions, carrots, mushrooms and beef stock. Didn't get any gravy, and the beef was a bit dry, but overall had good taste. Will try it again next time with the mushroom soup.

Barbecued Beef

Recipe was a bit sweet for my taste, but was as easy and good as all of the comments had stated. Came out very tender, juicy and flavorful.

Vegetarian Sloppy Joes

Very nice recipe. It was a solid meal, but ends up being almost impossible to hold together on a burger bun -- may be best served in a pita pocket or tortilla shell for eating.

Simple Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
Made some modifications by adding in some small slices of pepperoni, red and green bell peppers, and a mix of Italian herbs for added flavor. Took it to a house party and it was a huge hit. Made a giant bowl and brought back only about 1 cup full. Will definitely make again, as it is good warm (fresh) or after refrigerating.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

I personally think it would be better without the red wine vinegar, as it adds too much of a bitter taste. Otherwise the recipe was easy and terrific. Will definitely make it again soon.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
Like many other users, I made some modifications to this recipe, but overall it was delicious! After about 7 hours it turned out super tender, flavorful, and still moist...just like you hope for it to. My modifications included using a herb rub (thyme, parsley, cayenne, salt/pepper, garlic powder, onion powder) on the meet before browning it, putting the vegetables in halfway through the cooking time, and using beef broth instead of the dry onion soup mix. I also served with mashed potatoes, instead of red potatoes in the pot. As my wife says, "this is perfect for a winter meal as it just makes you feel all warm and comforted inside." I will make this again!

Marinated Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Mixed in 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice and served fresh pineapple slices on top. Cooked medium rare and wife thought it was fantastic! Has a great crisp flavor that everyone will enjoy (and I love). Would definitely make this again.

Sweet Garlic Chicken

I agree with Emily that adding some broth to make it more of a sauce is the way to go. My wife loved it and said we could definitely add this into the regular rotation -- which is fine with me as it's pretty simple to prepare. Very good dish!
