Honey Bran Muffins

This is a great bran muffin recipe. I think next time I would add some cinnamon for some extra flavor. 18 minutes cooking time no cupcake liners

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
Great recipe!! Although I made a few changes. I didn't have any sunflowers so I used more of the other nuts. I didn't have enough oatbran so I used flax seed meal in place. I used 1/2 cup sesame seeds also (they are great when baked). I put the raisins and cranberries in while the granola was warm to soften them up. I will probably add less salt next time and more cinnamon.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I loved this soup. I did make some changes though. I adding chopped carrots, and some chopped frozen spinach. Instead of the corn starch I added potato flakes about 1 cup. The soup still seemed as though it was too thin so I added some cooked cheese ravioli to absorb some of the liquid

Caramels

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
Great tasting caramel! I cooked until temp about 245 instead of 250 because some people theirs was too hard at 250. Next time I will cook until temp 250. Mine were a little too soft. It didn't effect the flavor they were wonderful. Great for gifts!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2013
I used fresh chicken that I smoked instead of canned chicken. I used half ranch dressing and half blue cheese dressing. 1/3 less fat cream cheese instead of regular. I used "scoops" instead of chicken flavored crackers. I found that the dip was the best on celery. This is an EASY recipe to make. I will make again!!

Rhubarb Cherry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2013
This is the best rhubarb cherry pie I have ever had. Although I made some changes. I added 3 cups rhubarb and a Gala apple diced small. I added the extra rhubarb from other suggestions. The reason I added the apple was due to the fact I used a 10 inch pie plate and there wasn't enough filling to fill the pie. It is on my list of keepers. Thank you for the recipe

I made this tea yesterday. I am glad I reduced the sugar because I found it to be too sweet. I will use this recipe but I will continue to use less sugar. Thank you for sharing.

Honey and Flaxseed Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
We really enjoyed this bread. We used as toast with jam. It was a perfect looking bread with great wheat flavor. The whole loaf was gone in one day. Shared by 5 people. If I make wheat bread again I will make this recipe. I didn't add the whey powder or the liquid lecithin because I knew it would be eatten all in one day.

Cocoa Rum Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
I brought these to a Christmas party after they had sat for 8 days to blend the flavors. The people that tried them loved them. I didn't think they had enough chocolate flavor so before bringing to the party I took cocoa powder and powdered sugar blended and rolled the balls. My husband said this made them better. Although I didn't try them again. My sister-in-law would like me to make them again next Christmas.
