Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup
OH MAH GOODNESS!! This soup really didn't taste what I thought it would taste like. It's like a WORLD BETTER! The flavor is so well rounded....I really didn't even think it needed garlic or anything else added to it. I had initially thought that the flour needed to be cooked and was going to do that with the mushrooms but said what the hey...I followed the directions and I am so glad that I did! Wonderful soup! No flour-y taste at all. Just follow the directions folks and you will have a pot of good soup!

Honey Wheat Bread I
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! And it was too easy too. I followed the directions and also followed the advice of all of the reviewers and doubled the yeast and also added more sweet stuff ...molasses 1/4 cup, honey 1/3 cup and also put 1/4 cup wheat germ and 1/4 flax meal. The loaves rose nicely and taste fabulous. I think I will put some oats in there the next time too. Such a flexible recipe ....really gave me more confidence with bread making. It"s good for you too!

Sweet Potato Pie from EAGLE BRAND(R)
Very easy recipe that I am using again for the second time. The first time I did add some cloves and allspice and only used one large sweet potato. I also fixed the filling and then put it in a ziploc bag and froze it. On Thanksgiving day I thawed which didn't take long since I put it in a gallon bag and smashed thin..then I just cut off a corner of the bag and scooted it all in the pie shell...simple simple simple.
