Red Velvet Cake I

slightly chewy, but turned out well with the oil and sugar changed per previous comments. Only one bottle of food dye needed, made it plenty red!

Black Forest Cake I

I made this for my boss who loves cherries and she loved it! Forget using low heat for making the cherry goo, do a flash boil with it or else your whole cherries will fall apart and turn into jam

Carrot Cake Cookies

Just as described. A carrot cake in a handy carry around form. Very soft. Made with Cream cheese II frosting from this site. Was making the batch for another event and the people in the house snuck in and ate almost all the cookies! That is a sign they're good when people start sneaking for them! I Didn't have raisins and that was the only thing I did different. I will make again. Thanks Melissa

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Very very moist. I don't think it would be a good cake for shaping. got nothing but fave reviews, even my boyfriend didn't believe I made this from scratch! I used rich chocolate frosting found on this website and it worked very well! Anyone who likes chocolate should try this cake!

good flavor and it didn't collapse, only reason why it got two stars. Very crumby and dry. Many people compared it to sweet cornbread?! I will not use again

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

I followed the directions exactly and it turned out great. very light and fluffy, just like whipped cream, but more stable and lightly sweetened. I had people competing for the bowl! a little too powerful for a whole cake, but I think it would be perfect for cupcakes.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

very good when you get the oven temp just right. 375 was too hot for my oven, had to use 350 and adjust the timing. by the time I got all that figured out, only got a few perfect batches. Even over cooked they taste good. Thinner then some other oatmeal raisin cookies, but they held their own in my house! Thanks Darlene!

White Cake with Lemon Filling

was very crumby but I added a few tablespoons of raspberry jam to the batter to add a touch of flavor. I did not make it with the lemon filling, I used the brownie frosting found on this website. I will try making this again without the jam to see if it is still crumby. Tasted very good though!

Brownie Frosting

All I can say is this is amazing! After it turned out so well, on the other half of the batch I added about six tablespoons of my homemade raspberry jam to it. Added just a touch of tart. I will use this again and again! Thank you CRUNCHM!

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

this was wonderfully tasty but we couldn't help ourselves from putting half the leeks in with the potatoes during the cooking process. Served inside a bread bowl from the french bread recipe from this site. I will definitely make this again.

French Bread

I made this without the corn meal or seeds, but it still turned out great. I used the dough to make bread bowls instead of loaves and it was perfect. I didn't have to coat the inside of the cut out bread to prevent sogginess. I will use this recipe again. thanks

Buttermilk Honey Wheat Bread

the family was all over this when it came out of the oven. It was a little crumbly for sandwhich bread, but a good snack or dinner bread.
