I follow a gluten free diet as of December 28th, 2009. I am getting fairly good at creating gluten-free versions of the kinds of things I used to be able to eat that are good enough for my family to enjoy, as well.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making desserts, using the crock-pot and really just making anything that sounds good.
My cooking triumphs
Good gluten-free cake, pies, and even "graham" crackers.
My cooking tragedies
I had several temper-tantrums while trying to roll out gluten-free crust, which is very sticky and uncooperative. I learned to freeze the dough for 10 minutes or so and then roll out, freeze again before peeling wax paper off. I hate using Saran Wrap.
