Corn Fritters Canadian Style

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
This is a great recipe! Thank you. I did however make these without egg. I had none in the house. I had no creamed corn so i took 2 cans of whole kernel corn and blended one can in the blender with the juice, then drained the other can. I also used bacon grease to fry them on my electric hot plate. Delicious!! Will definitely make again.

Man-Lovin' Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
I took this recipe and did my own thing with it. I was making it for my whole family so I used 5 lbs of potatoes and 48 slices of American cheese, as well as about 2 cups of sour cream and instead of bacon (since i did not have any) I used Turkey Sausage (1 lb) My whole family DEVOURED them (3 sons and a husband) And I had leftovers that were gone by the next day!! To make the mixing of the ingredients easier and more equal I put it in my blender a little at a time to really grate up the slices of cheese well and mixed well throughout. This is a great recipe. I will make it again, but it sure is fattening so it will be a SPECIAL OCCASION dish. Thanks for the WONDERFUL recipe!!!!

Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
I don't know what I did wrong. If I did anything wrong, but it was a waste of ingredients. The tops did not brown and the bottoms did. They are not fluffy and still a good bit doughy inside. And I cooked them an additional 6 minutes. Couldn't bake them any longer or the bottoms would have been completely burnt up. Maybe if the lard had not been melted they would have been fluffier and not so hard and HEAVY! Well at least I can give them to the dog as a treat for going potty outside......

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I made these today. I started making them and after I had already mixed some of the ingredients I realized I did not have any Vanilla Extract! I used Butter and Nut instead and they are wonderful!! Thanks for sharing the recipe, everyone in my family loves them.

Jamaican Fried Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
I really enjoyed these thank you for the recipe. However I topped them with cinnamon sugar while they were cooling a bit. everyone in my family scarfed them up! I did get 1 though. I can see they would probably be good as well dusted with powdered sugar as well. Thanks again.
