Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
I love this recipe! I took others suggestions and added a half a packet of dry ranch dressing mix to the cracker crumbs for some added flavor and a little flour to help it stick better. We always seem to make too much but the leftovers are gone the next day! Gave it four stars just because we did add a few little things.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I used this recipe to make Halloween cookies. I made 4 different doughs (the original and 3 tweaked using the suggestions of other reviewers). The hands down favorite was a recipe adding one cup confectioner's sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. I chilled the dough overnight and rolled it out with a mixture of flour and conf. sugar. Baked for 6 mins and they were perfect!, a little crispy on the edges and nice and soft in the middle. The original recipe does hold it's shape a little better but none spread too much and with icing you don't even notice if they did spread. Great recipe, will be using it for all my sugar cookies now!

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Used this recipe on 1/2 of my Halloween cookies. It was easy to make and use although I did need to add more milk and corn syrup than the recipe calls for. The icing looks great and dries shiny at first, the next day they still looked great but weren't shiny (it may have been the balance of milk and corn syrup in mine) On the cookie it tastes good, but out of the bowl it tastes like pure sugar. Overall it's a good icing that looks great and is easy to make but I liked the taste and consistency of the other sugar cookie frosting better, although it doesn't look quite as polished.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I used this frosting on 1/2 of my Halloween cookies (Sugar Cookie Icing on the other half). This is easy to make and decorate with, I piped an outline on the cookies and then microwaved frosting so it was easy to spoon onto the cookies. I used butter instead of shortening. Although this frosting doesn't look quite as polished and shiny as the Icing, the taste and consistency were better and they still look great! I will be using this recipe from now on for my sugar cookies.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
This marinade was SO easy to make and the kabobs were delicious! I doubled the recipe like other reviewers suggested and had plenty to marinade the chicken and the veggies. Plus some left over to brush on while grilling! I got many compliments and will definitely use this marinade again!

DELISH! Brought this to a family dinner and everyone thought it was the best peanut butter pie they ever had! Even had a few people offer to pay me to make them one! Thanks for the recipe!
