After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
If you are willing to take the time this soup is absolutely worth it. I gave a huge bowl away to two luck folks and still had a pot in the fridge and one in the freezer for later. I made no changes to the recipe and I can't express how delicious it was. We served it over warm biscuits as it has a great stew quality to it. Absolutely fantastic!!!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
This pie is to die for. I have made it as written and it is so yummy. I have also done with fresh peaches which is best in my opinion. I added about 1/4 cup very ripe peaches to the cream cheese mixture and blended until smooth and just chopped about 5 or 6 peaches for the rest of the recipe. AMAZING! Surprisingly easy to make as well. THANKS for sharing!

Bird Seed Energy Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
These are very good. We make a tray and freeze individual squares every other month or so. We have made as stated which is excellent and we have also made with modifications which we enjoy. We usually add 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of flaked coconut. Butterscotch chips give a great flavor too. We have also cut the oil and replaced 1/2 with applesauce and there really is no change in the flavor. Very nice recipe. THANKS!

Raspberry Oat Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
These are super good. Might be slightly on the sweet side for those that don't care for sweet. I made as written with the only exception of using fresh raspberries because they are in season and sooo good. I used about 3/4 pint and just mashed them with a fork. The end product looked and tasted excellent. I chopped them into small bars and refrigerated them. I think they taste best cold with a nice cup of coffee. Yum! Thanks for the recipe!

Raspberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Easy, decadent and delicious. I prepared as stated except I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon (because I think all baked goods need at least a dash), I used frozen raspberries so that I could easily mix them into the thick batter and I did not put additional sugar on the top. These were some of the best muffins I have ever made. Love, love, love and will definitely make again.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

I use the meatball recipe all the time. It is great just as is. The sauce recipe is a little sweet for my taste so I cut that in half. Overall a great recipe that I will continue to use for years.

Broccoli Salad IV

Fantastic. If you have the time, use real crumbled bacon...if you don't have the time, you can omit it completely and it still tastes unbelievable.

Whole Wheat Pumpkin-Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
Great recipe. My two year old and hubby definitely appreciated it! I followed the recipe except for using fresh mashed pumpkin rather than canned and walnuts instead of pecans. It came out wonderful and a nice treat that is on the healthier side. Thanks for the recipe!
