About this Cook
Well, I'm a 21 year old bachelor with room mates and we would starve if one of us hadn't learned to cook, I picked it up 2 years ago with freezer stuff, and ready made kits, and am getting more comfortable with my concoctions by the day... I'm also a graphic artist for a local screen-printing shop. Other than that I enjoy the occasional tattoo or piercing and the other oddball stuff I get into.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy wilderness cooking over an open flame more than anything, I guess that's comparable to grilling. I'm also fond of southern family recipes and the occasional home-made garbage pizza. Chili is high on the list as well specially in the fall and winter times.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I guess would be my father's side of the family's brand of southern homestyle cooking. Also my grandmother's Native American influenced cooking would be fun to take on one day.
My cooking triumphs
having never had a meal turned away as unedible is a big deal on my scale. No formal awards or anything of the nature, but I was much happier to pick up as quickly as I did without much training or anything. Also it's nice to be able to cook in less than admirable circumstances such as camping trips or with a short kitchen
My cooking tragedies
Thankfully none to speak of (yet). I always fear one though, which I guess in turn makes me pay special attention as to not have a tragedy

Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread
Enjoyed this very much, substituted 1/2 cup of Oil and 1/2 cup of Applesauce to cut down on the oil and greasy consistency as mentioned in the other review...Made one loaf for home and one for my girlfriend to take to work...everyone's loved it. One thing I've noticed is the Chocolate chips and nuts take on the flavor of the Zucchini more so than the actual bread does. It's almost like eating Coco Puffs...but it's pretty epic...I'll be making this again when fresh pumpkin is out of season :D

Quick Cheese Biscuits
Fantastic recipe, Quick and easy just like advertised. I fixed a few and fed my room-mate and I, Great with a little dressing or a glass of milk. Thanks for the great recipe
