Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding II

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
This is not "CUSTARD" style rice pudding!!!! Yay! I finally found the recipe my mom taught me to make. I add vanilla bean to give it some depth, you can add extract at the end if you don't have beans. Thank you so much for posting!

Chocaroon Cake

My fiance LOVED this cake and I would never change a thing. He does not even like sweets and he asked for this cake every day. Does not even need icing according to him!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
Wow, what a great recipe! My children love this. I followed the suggestions by switching the volume of the two different flours around for a larger proportion of whole wheat flour. Plus I added 2 tablespoons of gluten. Thank you for submitting this recipe!

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
This recipe was incredible. I took it to work and people could not get over how spongy and tasty it was. I did not have almond extract and just increased the vanilla to 2 tsp. It does not need anything added to it, it is great by itself!!

German Pancake

Don't let the picture of the sauce deceive you!! I've had this recipe cut out of the magazine sitting in my book for almost 10 years and I was unusure if it was worth the effort. The sauce is a rich caramel TWO CHANGES: 1. Cut sugar down to 1 cup and 2. reduce margarine down to 1/4 cup. You'll reduce fat and sugar without comprimizing the taste or consistency.

Chicken Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
I made a few changes.... I reduced the poultry seasoning to 1/2 teaspoonful and added 1/2 tsp salt (as I used reduced salt broth) and 1/2 tsp browning sauce. My son turned his nose up at the smell but ended up going back for seconds and poured it over his baked haddock.

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
My children, age 13 and 2, loved this. In order to avoid the soggy bottoms I melted the butter in the baking dish. This heated up the pan just enough to turn out perfect.
