Non-Balaya

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Im from La but this is the way i make my jambalaya, i dont like the tomatoe-y taste or big chunks (or small) in my food. i season all layers with Tonys and this is my perfect jamablaya.

Sausage Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
I thought this was very good. i used an entire bag of frozen corn, no cream-style corn, chicken broth instead of water and rice milk for the evaporated milk, DH is lactose intolerant. it came out very well.

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
5 stars. Very very easy, took about 5 minutes, I melted the white choc in the microwave per instructions, dipped then sprinkled with sprinkles. put in fridge overnight (with parchment on the cookie tray so nothing would stick). I used the pretzel rods but will try the square ones next time since it will make many more.

I made this last night and it was very tasty. I did change a tiny bit, i used beef broth and no wine. i cut the potatoes and put them in a 400 oven while i was browning the sausages, peppers and onions. i put all in 13x9 and poured a cup of beef broth over all and baked for about 50 minutes. ate with a salda on the side. very tasty!! thank you!

School Day Biscuits

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
I tried these this morning, using a new honey butter biscuit. I didn't think they were a 5 great, but it was quick, turned on the oven while making the babies bottle, popped them in while giving her a bath and changing her and they were done when we were done, so a 4 for easy and quick.

i had looked at this recipe for about a week, wanting to make it, but not to sure. this was really good and really easy! I made it for just 2 of us, so cut everything in half and since my BF is lactose intolerant, i just put the cheese on my half (pepper jack and cheddar). the tater tots were nice and crispy like i like them and the BF said it was great. thanks
