About this Cook
Mother and daughter team, we are the main cooks in the house (because it's like pulling teeth to get anyone else to cook around here. We cook when we can, though work and school get in the way
My favorite things to cook
Dubby Jr: Italian food...though I'll try to cook anything at least once, as long as I know the rest of my family will eat it
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking for a crowd (though I'm still learning)
My cooking triumphs
Dubby Jr: Ooooo....I know! My lasagna rolls. I swear, it was a moment of weird cooking genius. I jsut kinda threw some stuff together and voila! It turned out spectacular...to my great surprise Dubby Sr: Probably my stuffed shells...I tried it at a restaurant in Boston and replicated it at home. My family loves it and we never have leftovers

Mom's Zucchini Bread
I LOVE Zucchini Bread, and this 1 is no exception. First couple times I made this, 1/2 my batch was bread-napped by my husband's co-workers and then my mother-in-law, with rave reviews from all. Gonna try halving the oil and subbing leftover canned pumpkin for the rest. Also, I used 1 1/2 Tbs pumpkin spice instead of just cinnamon. Will definitely post results up if it's a success.

Fluffy French Toast
I will DEFINITELY be making this again. I followed other users suggestion and upped the cinnamon to a full tsp, and used sourdough as the bread (ended up w/ half the amount though). My hubby, who is usually a syrup junkie, ate his sans-syrup so as to enjoy the flavor and was THRILLED, as was my 4-yr old and 1-yr old. All around, the satisfaction could be found

Easy Meatloaf
5+ stars! Made this for my family and even my picky little sis LOVED it. I did follow suggestions made: sauteed onion with a bit of garlic, worchestershire added, and multiplied sauce to desired amount. Also, I used crackers crumbs (club crackers work best) instead of bread crumbs...added a slightly sweet, buttery flavor. All in all, will definately make many more times
