Just Like Wendy's® Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Great chili! My family loved it! Even though by boys are older, they still act like little children when it comes to onions and chunky tomatoes :) so I put them in the blender and nobody was the wiser. I will be making this again very soon!

Slow Cooker Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
I used lean ground turkey and the recipe was good. However, the noodles absorbed most of the sauce so they were pretty soft. I cooked it on low heat in my slow cooker for about 6 hours. If someone has any ideas on how to bake it so the noodles don't over cook and absorb all the sauce, please let me know and I will definitely make this again. Also, I paired it with the cheesy Italian bread from this site and it was awesome

Sy's Challah

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2013
I made this over the weekend and used it for french toast among other things. It was great and I made it as writte, no changes. I used my kitchen aid mixer and it was so easy. I have tried other Challah recipes, but could not get them to raise like this one did. It was wonderful and popular at my house. Thanks Sy!

Cherry Crumble

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
this was great. I used 2 cups fresh pitted cherries, combined with 2/3 cup sugar and a tsp. of lemon juice, and after mashing cherries in sauce pan, added some corn starch to thicken and put it all in. I only used 1 cup flour and used 1/3 cup brown sugar in the topping/crust. Very easy and tasty recipe.

My-Hop Pancakes

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
I have been on a quest to find a great homemade pancake recipe that doesn't need syrup to flavor it, and this is the one! All three of my boys and my niece loved these pacakes, which is a rarity in my kitchen. I omited the oil and went with applesauce instead and used egg whites.

Great cake. I used egg beaters and omited the oil in favor of sour cream and lighter bake and it got rave reviews from my 3 picky boys and everyone at work!

I made them for a mother's day bbq and everybody loved them. I will absolutely make them again and try different variations with the cake flavors. Thank-you. The flexability of this recipe makes it fun, yet easy.
