Buttermilk Biscuits III

These are NOT buttermilk biscuits like a restaurant, Paula Deen or Grandma! There is WAY too much buttermilk, the mix is SO wet that you have to keep adding flour, so much so that you end up with a tough biscuit because of having to work with it. I've baked for many years, have a Southern Grandma and father. I HAD to make this recipe with my daughter for a Girl Scout project. I would never make it again....

I'm so glad I found the recipe again! I've made this so many times but misplaced my well loved printed copy! I toast both sesame seeds and flax seeds, sub. 1/4 of flax seeds for the sesame. I also use salted sunflower seeds and unsweetened coconut. Also, to make things easier, I put the cocoa powder in the wet ingredients, mixes better this way. I've made for many people and always get asked for the recipe, I give them the original, never MY changes!
