Oven Pancakes

I added 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tbsp sugar to the batter, then sprinkled the cinnamon sugar over top. It was great with honey, and hubby said it tasted like french toast and loved it!

Swiss Treat Bars

This recipe is missing something. I think I will use more coconut next time I make this, if there is a next time, and a full teaspoon of salt. Not too sweet, and I loved the cherries!

Watergate Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
I love this salad! My mom always made this for family get-togethers and I make it for potlucks. I always tell this joke about the name: Why is it called "Watergate" salad? Because it is a cover-up!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I followed the reviewer recommendations and used 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can of cheddar cheese soup. The chicken was great for leftovers, we made chicken enchiladas with it the next day!

Red Wine Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I had some leftover red wine, so I decided to make this cake. I used 1/2 sugar, 1/2 splenda, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. After tasting the finished product, I think this recipe needs salt. I also think the directions need to be re-ordered so the red wine is added after the vanilla and then the flour and finally, the chocolate chips; especially when using an electric mixer. I also used a 9x13 pan and cut 15 pieces, as the calories for 8 pieces was way too high. The chocolate chips make the cake.
