Blueberry Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Highly recommend! Added cinnamon to the sugar topping. Baked it for about 45 mins to get it good and cooked. Took the cover off the last 10 min to let the top get a little crunchy. The cream cheese gave it a creaminess. Everyone loved this!

Chocolate Cream Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
Threw out my old chocolate pudding recipe. This is our favorite now! Very intense chocolate flavor and extremely creamy and smooth. My husband said it tasted like a dark choc brownie. I used cocoa powder instead of the unsweetened choc: 3 T of cocoa powder + 1 T. of oil = 1 oz. unsweetened choc. I mounded the tablespoons of cocoa powder for a more intense, almost semisweet chocolate. Couldn't have been easier. Temper the egg yolks by adding a little bit of hot pudding to them before stirring them into the pot.

Easiest Eggplant

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
I took some other reviewers advice: crushed a garlic clove into the mayo and added some parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs. Sprinkled some extra parmesan on top as a garnish. This was heavenly! My husband said it seemed like it was deep fried and reminded him of deep fried zucchini. Super easy recipe!

Herbed Potato Soup

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
Added a couple cloves of garlic when I sauteed the onions. Otherwise, left the recipe unchanged. It was awesome! Very creamy, thick and flavorful. Best part is the ingredients are typically on hand. A person could easily add chicken or bacon, if they wanted to, or even some kale, chard, or fresh spinach. But if not, it's perfect the way it is. This is destined to become a favorite.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2012
Add a couple of small bottles of club soda and you'll have an extra refreshing sparkling beverage. Put a couple of sprigs of fresh mint or lemon balm for color! Wonderful lemonade recipe! Not too sweet, not too tart.

Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
I increased the vanilla to 1 Tbl to give it a strong vanilla flavor, added an extra egg yolk, and cooked it to a slightly higher temperature, based on the previous reviewers suggestions. Excellent recipe. Smooth, creamy with a nice body to it. Highly recommend it!

Waffles II

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Easy and delicious. Won't be buying a mix anymore! Waffles were delicate and fluffy. Added a teaspoon of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon and used 1 C. of whole wheat flour to replace white.

Green Tomato Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I made this recipe tonight and everyone loved it! I doubled the cinnamon, and cut the nutmeg in half (based on another reviewer). Also, made sure that my tomatoes were minced. My husband isn't a cake fan in general, but said he loved this one. Said it reminded him of carrot cake. I frosted it with cream cheese frosting. I plan to make several and freeze them, while the tomatoes are still on the vine.

I made this with a graham cracker crust and it was perfect. Best pumpkin pie that I've ever made. My mom still won't stop talking about it!
