Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
absolutely fabulous! no orzo at my store though :( so i used bowtie pasta, worked fine. loved the spinach, adds some color and fiber, good stuff. tried it with shrimp and it came out funny, the shrimp had a weird fishy smell and really didn't absorb the flavors well.........hmmmm

Nana's Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
do u need to remove the seeds before boiling the squash??? ....ok, so i took the seeds out and cooked 3 squash (maybe 3 cups?) in the microwave then added to the ingredients and followed the rest....OMG!!!! this was soooooo good! i was surprised, squash not being my favorite. it will be even better next time when i add the cheese (hubby hates cheese, so i will have to do half and half). thanks alyssa!!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
These were awesome (not to sound like a broken record as you're reading this after reading all the other reviews) but, yes, awesome!!! It was my first time making ribs and I got rave reviews! yay! Only change I made was to broil on high 3min instead of grilling at the end.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
wow, my first ever fish endeavor and it was fantastic! i used the written ingredients with 5 filets, and only cooked for 10min on 400. i did let them sit covered for a while before eating so they probably cooked a little more in the pan. i am impressed and so is hubby :)

Honey-Mustard Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
very interesting and different, i do not use curry, but i did eat this all up! hubby approved as well :). i did accidentally double the sauce, but i'm glad cuz there was plenty to pour over rice or noodles....i wonder how it would be to cube the chicken before cooking and bake with the rice or noodles mixed in all together....hmmmm, i may try that next. Thx!!!

Challah II

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
absolutely loved this bread! my mother used to make something similar in my youth, and this for sure takes me back. As others stated, you do sometimes have to wait a VERY long time for the dough to rise each time. Mine took 3hrs the first time, by then it was so late, i just braided it and put it in the fridge with the wet towel on top overnite, by morning it had risen and i then finished the recipe. Very good flavor and excellent consistency. The honey added a very nice touch, i will definitely make this again!

Honey Cornbread

very good, love the honey flavor, didn't have any cream, used milk and butter like suggested earlier, maybe that is why it was a little too sweet??
