Still a little too gooey, had to put them back into the oven for another 15 minutes. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe, Amy!

Fruit Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
If you follow this recipe and use a 9x13 pan, the bars come out REALLY thin. I used all of the mixture on the bottom of the pan, otherwise there wouldn't be enough to fill the bottom of the pan. Next time I will double the recipe to use a 9x13 pan. Good bars, tho. Thanks for the recipe.

Italian Butterball Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
These are really good, I expected a firmer, more dense cookie, but was pleasantly surprised at how light and airy these are. To coat with the powdered sugar, I placed the sugar into a quart-size bag and tossed in two hot cookies at a time, gave a little shake, and took them out of the bag. Perfectly powdered and no mess. Thanks for a great recipe!

In a word, PERFECTION! I followed the recipe exactly, and this is by far the BEST coffee cake I have ever had. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks Jan for submitting this, it's a keeper!

Microwave Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Leave the corn in the husk and microwave for 3 minutes. When you remove the husk, all the cornsilk comes off with the husk, no wasting time removing every little strand.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
Thanks for submitting such a great recipe! My roast came out PERFECT thanks to your advice about cooking at 375 degrees. I had a tendency to overcook roasts, but not anymore! Even the cheapest cut of beef comes out wonderful.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IX

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
Good cookies, but they lacked that "ooomph". Next time I will try adding a half teaspoon of ground cloves to the batter, and will also try the applesauce that others have suggested.

Savory Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This recipe is fantastic! I place the spices and garlic in a bowl and stir in 2 tablespoons olive oil and mix well, then cover the top of the roast with this mixture. It couldn't be any easier, and is soo yummy.

Italian Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2007
These were pretty good. I find using dry bread crumbs in meatballs tends to make them hard as a rock, so I moisten them with half cup of milk (stir well) before adding to the meat mixture, and they turned out very moist. One hour in the oven was far too long, even though I make BIG meatballs. They all burned on the bottom. Not a bad recipe, just needs some tweaking.
