About this Cook
Single Mom. My Mother taught me how not to be afraid in the kitchen. Teaching my 13 year old how to have fun and enjoy cooking as much as I do. Love to cook on holidays, have family and friends over. Cooking is relaxing to me, I love it! I'll attempt anything.
My favorite things to cook
Anything Italian! (My heritage) Taught Italian cooking basics at a very young age.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The stuffing for Thanksgiving dinner. My son now makes it!
My cooking triumphs
When my Italian Grandmother told me that my sauce was better than hers and I was the family's official sauce maker from that day on. A torch I proudly accepted!
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at a cheesecake. It cracked all over!

Baked French Toast
Even used other reviews to tweak this and it didn't work out. It basically turned out to be mushy bread with a hard candy coating. Don't know what happened but so much for not wanting to waste left over Italian bread!!!

Wine Cookies (Original Italian)
Sorry, didn't care for these at all. I may have done something wrong, though I followed the recipe to the T. Even my Father, who seems to like everything, thought they were just "ok". Even threw out half the dough because I knew something just wasn't right.
