Yummy Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
I liked the bacon, green onion and pecan flavor but would use a different kind of cheese next time. Cream cheese just washes everything out and make it bland.

Spring Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
This recipe is incredible! It is perfect for those who do not like broccoli but wished they could. I gobbled this stuff up, and even my husband who hates salad loved it! I replaced the raisins with dried cranberries, and I didn't use the vinegar with the dressing since I didn't have it on hand. I also used maple flavored bacon. Came out great!

Jill's Salsa

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
Incredible recipe!! I only changed the tomatoes into crushed tomatoes since I am not a big fan of tomatoes. My mother in law even kept raving about the salsa! LOVE it, and it tastes better chilled for a little while so the flavors can mesh!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
We made this twice already and love it! It is very simple and easy to make! The only changes I made were to add less biscuits on top so it wouldn't absorb too much of the soup and chicken mixture. I used half of one tube of refrigerated biscuits and it was nice and creamy!

Tail Burner Firehouse French Fries

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Amazing fries!!! I made it exactly the way the recipe listed, except that I drizzled the butter, and it was loaded with flavor! If you want the max flavor, don't skimp on the spices or butter!

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Oh my goodness.. this was incredible!! The meat is more tender than any rib joint that my husband and I have ever been to, and it was effortless to remove it from the bone! So easy too! I followed everything except exchange ketchup for Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and Spicy sauce! Mmmm!

Cheesy Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly, except for one thing- I used nacho cheese soup instead of cream of chicken. My husband said it was the best one he has ever tasted! It is definitely going to be a staple for us! One tip: Don't use foil wrapper on the baking sheet, because the tortilla will stick to it for some reason! It is a pain to peel it off the foil & it will rip :/

Authentic Huevos Rancheros

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
I followed this recipe to a tee, except that I added some bacon grease to the refried beans like someone had suggested here. It was so good to eat and even my picky kids gobbled it up! Yum!

Aaahh! Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I've always loved the white, creamy potato soup and this homemade version is excellent! I got rave reviews from the family! The only thing was the serving size.. 6 servings would really be half that.. it served two adults and two picky toddlers.

No Tomato Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
Excellent chili, we cooked it the way the recipe called for, but put it in the slowcooker so that the flavors could mix and simmer for a while! We topped it with cheddar, sour cream and jalapenos, and served it with crackers! I got rave reviews from the family!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
My husband says this is one of the best breakfast he has ever had! I took the advice of cooking the bacon in strips first, then crumbling it after. I also grilled the onions in the bacon grease afterward. Makes it sooo delicious! This will be a staple in our kitchen, thanks so much!

Cucumber Shell Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
It was very plain and didn't have much flavor. I'd add bacon next time, but wouldn't make this again.

Cobb Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
I am thrilled that this cobb salad turned out great! I added shredded carrots and cold peas to this as well and used a light ranch. It was so good that I will never go to a restaurant to buy Cobb salad again knowing that I've got an excellent one that I can make at home!
