I have been cooking for 20+ years and enjoy it very much! I am an extremely creative cook. I love to prepare and make my own recipes, as well as "tweeking" existing recipes to make them my own. I cook by taste and am not afraid of using various spices and ingredients. I love using my own homegrown herbs and vegetables in my dishes.

Yummy Apple Pound Cake
This is a surprisingly wonderful cake! Very moist, easy to make. I made it with the Maraschino Cherries - which I normally do not like. Works very well and tastes fabulous! Nutmeg and Cinnamon add something special to this cake also. I can't wait to try it with other fruit!
