World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I come from a big Italian family, and this recipe is by far the best lasagna I have ever had. From now on this is my go to recipe for lasagna. I know the "no boil" lasagna noodles are quicker and easier, however, I think the little extra time it takes to boil the "traditional" noodles is well worth it, just my personal preference. My family loved the recipe. Make it for your family, you won't be disappointed.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
Very delicious and easy to make. I followed some advise from other reviews. I used chicken broth instead of water, I only used 16oz of can tomato sauce and added a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes. I also cut the pasta amount to 1/2 pound. Next time I might add some chopped fresh spinach leaves to sneak in more veggies. I will definitely be making this again.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
I have tried many different meat loaf recipes only to be disappointed. So far this is my families favorite version, minus the ketchup mixture over the top (it was too sweet for our taste).

Breakfast Loaf

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
Absolutely simple and delicious. I made the breakfast loaf the night before, wrapped it in foil and put it in the fridge. The next morning I took the breakfast loaf out of the fridge and placed it on the counter for about 20 minutes, then baked according to recipe directions. I brought it to work with me and my co-workers loved it. Thanks for submitting this recipe, I will definitely be making it often.

Joan's Awesome Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This is the best buttercream frosting I have ever tasted, once you try it you will be hooked. You can adjust the intensity of the flavor by adjusting the amount of almond flavoring you use. Easy to make and work with.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
Very Good! I made it in the oven according to the foot note, however, the 4 1/2 cups of broth is too much. I had some dry stuffing mix (about 2 cups) in the pantry, so I mixed it into the stuffing to help absorb some of the liquid, then put it back in the over for 15 to 20 minutes. The final product came out great and my family loved (we didn't have any left overs). The next time I make it I will only use about 3 1/2 cups of broth (which is two 14 oz cans of broth). Thanks for submitting this recipe. It brought back memories of when my mom made suffing when I was little.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
My family and I loved this simple and delicious recipe. In the past when I have made roasts, they have come out dry and not very tender. Using this recipe my roast was tender and juicy. The only thing I did that varied from the original recipe was I put the roast in the crock pot frozen. My mom has done that for years and her roasts always come out tender and juicy. I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Chicken Souvlaki Gyro Style

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
Very good recipe. I only changed a few things from the original recipe. I used balsamic vinegar and olive oil because I didn't want to buy the prepared salad dressing. I omited the Greek seasoning only because I could not find it in any of my local grocery stores (and it still tasted great). Otherwise, I followed the rest of the recipe as written. My whole family enjoyed the meal. It will become part of our regular recipe rotation.

This is a delicious cake and nice alternative to the traditional tiramisu. I made it for my husband for his birthday and brought the rest of it to work. All who tried it loved it and I had requests for the recipe. I will definitely make it again.

Awesome!!! My family and I loved it. I used a little more tortellini than the recipe called for, because we love tortellini. Perfect recipe for left over steak. I will definitely be making it again.
