Easy Italian Sausage Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
Loved this recipe! Made it for my brother's birthday and he did not believe his little sister was the chef. I did use our own venison pan sausage which is leaner and has less sodium. So yummy! It is now my only lasagna recipe I use.

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
Followed this recipe almost exactly and it was perfect. Doubled the garlic and left out the mushrooms. Tasted like something my Mom would make. Hearty and full flavored. I need to find a way to not use Lipton soup mixes because they have MSG.

Cabbage and Kielbasa

Wonderful flavor! Left out the butter and just sauted onions with a bit of canola oil. cooked potatoes seperately for my little ones. Can't wait to try it again with red wine instead of water. Delicious.

Smothered Bacon Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
This recipe is yummy. I don't usually have alot of time so this fits my schedule perfect. I doubled it fine. I even subsituted some ranch dressing for sour cream. I used chicken tenders by wrapping two together at a time. Get ready for a filling, hearty meal that everyone will love.

Chicken Tetrazzini I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I'll give it four stars because yes it is good, but it is also easy to modify to your own tastes. I used one can of crm of chkn soup, but then used one can crm of mushroom. I left out the mushrooms, added garlic to the butter, and then used a hint from another member and topped it with bread crumbs. Makes a yummy casserole!

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
Easy, yummy and fast way to serve up a yummy meal to your family. I used bread crumbs that I seasoned myself to our liking (keeps the sodium down) and always add a little mustard to the eggs for a nice kick.

Made this for a neighbor. Rushed it over there nice and hot and saved a plate for myself. Super rich and creamy, a good basic alfredo sauce to get your started.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
Simply yummy! Made it according to the directions and it was great. Next time I made it I did some standard family tweaking to the breading process. To the eggs I added a touch of milk and 1 TBSP or so of Mustard. Mustard adds a slight tang. To the bread crumbs I added italian seasonings and changed the garlic salt to garlic powder because bread crumbs with sodium and so does butter. Whether you follow the directions or tweak it....you can't go wrong with this recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
I used boneless frozen chicken tenders (about 10). I used butter. I used the lower fat cheese (neufchatel) as well as the low sodium low fat cream of chicken soup. This is a rich and filling dish. Delicous prepared just as it says, but NOT on a heart healthy diet.
