David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2012
I adore this recipe, I make it for every birthday in the family! I actually make it into cupcakes, baking for only 15-20 minutes. They always turn out super moist and delicious, I often don't even ice them!

Wazzu Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
AMAZING. I made this with my slow cooker (cooked everything on low all day). I also added green, red and yellow bell peppers and a bit more seasoning (we like our chili spicy). My husband said it was the best chili he's ever had!

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Absolutely wonderful! I did add a bunch more spice (garlic powder, salt, pepper, cayenne plus the Italian seasoning). It was wonderful and a new dinner staple.

Slow Cooker Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
Very good soup, but it is very basic! Use this recipe as a starting point and add whatever else you like. It's all about making it personal! It's a very basic recipe so I added more salt, pepper, some kosher salt, basil, oregano (just a little of the last two). It's fantastic with some homemade bread, a real feel good meal!

It was pretty good. I had a very hard time getting it to set, but it still tasted good.

Italian Herb Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
I've baked quite a few breads and this one just wasn't quite right. It came out very dense, and a strange mixture between bland and spicy. One bite would be nothing but spice, the next completely bland. It was great when dipped into sauce (we ate it with spaghetti), but I couldn't eat it plain. All in all, some might like it but it definitely wasn't for us.
