I just have to say, please do NOT add ANY salt to this dish. I failed to remember that the ham already has enough salt flavor. My family loved this even if it was a tad bit salty. I dipped the filled and rolled chicken in egg wash and then rolled in bread crumbs. I did not melt cheese on top but instead made a cream sauce with heavy cream, butter, paprika, dry white wine and a bit of corn starch. This was so good and easy, I'll do it again and again. I would recommend a little black pepper on the chicken before rolling. Just no salt!!!
