Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
This was my first chili I ever made and this recipe was great! I changed some of the tomatoe ingredients to make it thicker but the spices were right on. I use the crock pot and we freeze the leftovers (if there are any!)

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
This is one of my husband's favorite meals. I took the advice of others and used chicken broth instead of water. Just make sure you count how many toothpicks you use!

Hot Spiced Cranberry Cider

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Have made this for many occasions. Its become a traditional part of our Thanksgiving menu. As we run out, I just keep adding the ingredients. Plus it smells sooo good while its warming up! Better than an air freshener. :)

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Very tasty! just make sure you chop everything before you start cooking to make it go quicker. This meal tasted like something from a restaurant. It did have more of a kick than I expected (and it was a delayed kick at that!) even though we cut the spice in half. We will make this again and again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
these were phenomenal! I made them for Fathers Day and they were gone before you knew it! The chicken was nice a moist and tender. We will definitely make these again. The only thing I did different was to use dried rosemary instead of fresh, and marinated the chicken for at least 2 hours before grilling. Delicious!

South Chicago Annie Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
This is a good comfort food recipe and leftovers reheat very well. Any cream soup works if you don't have cream of chicken or cream of mushroom on hand.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
Definitely a keeper. Easy to make and delicious! My husband said its better than the frozen pot pies. I boiled the chicken and veggies in chicken broth and added garlic powder, sage, salt, & pepper to the chicken mixture. I used celery salt instead of celery seed for the sauce since that's what I had on hand. Next time I might try using small corning wear containers for personal pot pies instead of a pie pan.
