Gingery Mung Bean Sprouts Pancake

great quick recipe. i might have used too much ginger and soy sauce. definitely gingery, so use less if you're not the biggest fan.

definitely lacking some seasoning, maybe more garlic? use a little less cayenne pepper if you don't want it too spicy. great healthy vegan combination of foods!!

easy raw pad thai salad

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
delicious!!! used kelp granules in addition to just a dash of salt. lime and cilantro make it super tasty. best to cut up veggies into bite size pieces instead of strips. also used a mix of almonds and cashews. and mung bean sprouts.

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
eh, this was okay. quick and filling but i wasn't too crazy about the seasonings. i didn't have a lot of the things so i used onion, garlic, tomato, dill pickles, basil, salt & pepper all mixed together. i think making it into better tasting hummus would've been a better option.

Spinach and Leek White Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
great!! i used a vegetable broth and instead of cumin and bay leaves i used rosemary and basil. tastes fantastic. just use enough until you have the taste you want. also, salt and pepper help to keep it from tasting too bland. definitely wait until you are ready to eat to add the spinach. awesome!

really tasty. rice needed to cook a bit longer. one bell pepper is enough to be a meal on its own!

chick pea masala

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
there was not enough liquid in this recipe, and the chick peas did not get as soft as i would've liked in 5 min. and too much curry powder.

Tomato Spinach and Bean Burrito

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
this did not come out at all like i was expecting. way too runny/watery and way too spicy even when i reduced the chili powder to a tablespoon. not quite sure what went wrong but i won't be trying it again.
