To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I wouldn't say that I would die for these but they are great with the crunchy topping. However, the amount of topping is twice as much as is needed. If you double the recipe, leave the topping amount the same and it will be perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

Boiled Fruit Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I am English and I used to have a wonderful boiled fruit cake recipe that I lost. This is it except I add glace cherries and a few chopped hazlenuts to mine. Have made this 3 times in 2 weeks as the whole family love it.

Joy's Prizewinning Trifle

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This is one of the best trifles I have tasted! I left out the bananas and just increased the other fruit, as I knew there would be some left. I hate banana all brown and squishy the next day.The combination was just wonderful and it looked so pretty.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I made this with Bramley cooking apples (as I am English) and it wasn't dry at all. They are jucier than dessert apples. Because of this I only put the 'crisp' on the top. It was a bit like an English Apple Crumble but better. The whole family loved it and asked for me to make it again. Great recipe!

Apple Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I made as the recipe but substituted half the mayo with low fat natural yoghurt, to cut the fat. Don't think it altered it much. It is a great coleslaw, thanks for the recipe!

Easy Apple Strudel

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I am English so I used Bramley cooking apples with a sprinkling of sugar and cinamon as they are sharp. They are also more juicy and produced more liquid, but it turned out fine. The bottom of the pastry sort of caramalised. YUM!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I made this stuffing as a trial for Christmas. It was the best stuffing EVER! The blend of flavours was fantastic! I am English so excuse the spelling!
