Chantal's New York Cheesecake
Awesome! My boyfriend requested a NY style, dense, creamy cheesecake for his 40th birthday and this recipe worked PERFECTLY!!! This is the first cheesecake I've ever made and I was soooo proud of how it turned out! I was careful not to overbeat, used cream instead of milk (I had some I wanted to use up), and put mine into an oven bag. No leaking, worked perfectly. I baked mine at 325 for about 1hour 20min. Left it in the oven, door closed, for about 3 hours. Then it went into the fridge overnight. NO CRACKS! I mean came out perfectly. He has already eaten half of it. :)

Split Pea Soup
Yummmmmmyyyyy!! JUST what I was looking for. I cant get my husband to eat anything green ...when he walked in the door he sais "WOW something smells great!!" :) We put homeade garlic croutons on top, very VERY yummy

VERY YUMMY!! I attempted to make homeade bread for the first time in my new KitchenAid mixer...for my first time making bread it wasn't bad...but very bland!! So I didn't wanna waste a whole loaf of bread... I made Delicious Ham and Potato soup (from this site) for dinner and I topped it with these homeade croutons... I melted some butter in a pan and used garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper.....i tossed the butter with the bread in a bowl then dumped onto a baking tray! we put the croutons right on top of our soup :) SOOOO good and I cant wait to make them again!!
