About Me
I love food, cooking, gardening, the joy of cooking what we grow, travel, and being a busy mother of three.
My favorite things to cook
Anything and everything. I'm always looking for something new and perfecting favorites.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas baking with the kids. I don't bake often, beyond birthdays and the holidays, so it's a real special event in our house. I love the heated debates and confection planning as much as the baking itself.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know about triumphs, as everyday is an up and down road in cooking, but I can tell you what I am passionate about: Fresh, wholesome food. My goal each year is to waste less than the year before, produce as much of our own food, and learn to cook the way our great-grandparents did.
My cooking tragedies
I've had many, and expect to have many to come. However, that is the only way to grow in cooking... or in any facet really. Fail, fall, and learn from it all!
