I am a recently married twenty-something who...doesn't cook. I clean the kitchen after my husband cooks. I am trying to branch out and teach myself a few things, but I find if I don't have to "cook" but "throw together/prepare" I do great! I would like to follow more recipes and make us meals as opposed to prepared, frozen foods but we don't usually have enough money on a single income to buy the necessary ingredients.
My favorite things to cook
Again, I don't cook. But I make an awesome family fruit salad. I also have a mean chicken potpie (I learned both from my mom, my husband cooks the chicken for our potpies!)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Fruit Salad for the holidays, usually Thanksgiving and Christmas. Once for Easter.
My cooking triumphs
Fruit Salad & Potpies. And Mexican Cream Cheese Rollups I found on this site! Again, things that aren't cooked, but simply mixing ingredients together.
My cooking tragedies
Pretty much anything that requires heat. I can manage to screw up hamburger help half the time. I even have issues with cutting/chopping. I'm quite pathetic in the kitchen.
