About this Cook
There's not much to say...I'm a jack of all trades I suppose. I love to cook and bake and am always looking for new recipes. I also play guitar in a band, have two stubborn hound dogs, and a wonderful boyfriend who enjoys eating my creations as much as I love making them.
My favorite things to cook
XMAS baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom & I have almost always made cookies together.
My cooking triumphs
A few...I made an awesome white chocolate raspberry cheesecake last year!
My cooking tragedies
LOL...I made a horrible pot roast once...oh well!

Hawaiian Bread I
the first thing i will say is that this bread tastes AWESOME! however, the recipe itself wouldn't have worked if i hadn't tweaked it quite a bit. at the end of the 1st cycle (where you check the dough), my dough was very wet, so i added about 1/2 cup flour to it. unplugged the bread machine and started over. at the end of the 1st cycle, i could tell the bread wasn't going to rise, so i added the rest of my yeast packet (i think they come in 2-1/4 tsp. packs). after i did all that, the bread came out perfectly. if i hadn't been vigilant, i'm sure it wouldn't have risen at all.

Erin's Indonesian Chicken
loved this sauce! i actually changed most of the other details (used garbanzo beans and black beans instead of chicken, broccoli instead of green beans) but that's just because that's what i had. i also added fresh garlic and it was great. definitely a versatile sauce that i'll be using over and over!
