Gluten-intolerant, chief cook in the home for many years. Now I must relearn how to cook. Sad realization that delivery pizza will never again be an option. Oh, well.
I live in CT, USA and love Italian, Asian, and American fare. My parents taught me how to cook. My mom was a basic-staples gal, but my dad was an Italian master of everything food---from marinara to home-pickled eggplant.....stored in little instant Maxwell House coffee jars....
I was always at the stove with him, or helping my mom with the basics.
Quitting gluten is worse than quitting smoking! But it's a matter of choices.
