Baked Fish and Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
This was great. I used a box of Uncle Ben's Mushroom Recipe Brown and Wild Rice. I also added some cayenne to the fish for some kick. The onions were absolutely the best part!

Slow-Cooked Carolina Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. this was a major hit at our house. I did have to make a couple of substitutions do to lack of shopping desire. I used soy sauce and honey/ brown sugar instead of worcestershire and molasses. I also used a cheap roast that I had in the freezer. So yummy, will totally make this again.

Annie's Strawberry Dessert

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Way too much sugar in the cream cheese layer, holy cow it was really sweet. I didn't like the taste of the strawberry glaze I bought so I left it off and just had the berries on the top. Really tasty though.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Super Bowl Party loved it. The kids devoured them and the men loved them but wanted some heat. I personally thought they had too much soy sauce taste. Next time I will decrease the oil (maybe use sesame oil) and decrease the soy sauce. Oh I did have to use half brown sugar because I ran out of honey. And I did baste them through out the baking time.
