Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

I made this for a potluck at work...lunch started at 11 and my entire crockpot was empty by 10:30...It was fabulous! I used 2 cans of chili maters and 2 fresh chopped jalapenos. I also used 1 can of kidney and 1 can of black beans...none of this was drained!! It turned out in the perfect consistency and was absolutely delicous!! I also used 2 lbs of turkey meat!

Apple Spice Cake

Wow what a cake!! I took the advice and used 1/2c brown and 1c white sugar. I didn't have allspice so I used some pumpkin spice. I'm not sure why some think it's too spicy, I think it is very tasty!! I did chop my apples, but made them kinda small. Instead of vanilla in the cake, I used almond extract to give it a little nutty flavor, worked perfect. Great cake, great flavor...will definetly make this again! Check out my picture!

Great taste and easy to make. I do agree with the temp or cooking time though, mine were turning brown already when I pulled them out with 7 minutes left. Maybe change the cook time to 15 min or lower the temp to 300 for 20 min.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

I have made this cake twice...first time was very beautiful. The second I took it out of the pan to early and it spread open around the pineapples...be sure to cool it but not to long! I haven't actually tasted the cake, but I have been told they are great!!

Sugar Cookie Drops

Cookies were very moist and melted in my mouth!!! They stayed nice and soft for as long as they lived. I loved the size of the batch for gift giving, but if you are looking for some cookies for you to eat at the house...halve the recipe...it makes a bunch!!

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Good cookie. I tried a variation for this recipe. I used 1.25 cup of soynut butter instead of peanut butter. I also added a 1/4 tsp of Almond Extract to give it a little more nutty flavor. You can't even tell I didn't use real peanut butter! I too baked it for only 10 minutes and they came out in perfect texture.
