Best Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
First off the good stuff I love that it doesn't have coconut milk and second the ingredients are always on hand and super quick. However I found it rather bland and a little to runny. So I adjusted it to a 1/3 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup water and totally bumped up everything else to our tastes. I appreciate the base recipe though and to be honest reminds me a lot of what you get in Bali but needs some more spice for Thailand.

Concord Grape Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
This is an old recipe that my husbands Granny also made, I lost hers but know this is pretty close if not exact. It may seem like a bit of work but so are most things made from scratch. So glad my neighbor grows Concord Grapes, they are so delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Raspberry Tart

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
Very easy and showstopping even for a beginner. I drizzled white chocolate on top and received raves. I am thinking of browning some peaches then replacing the respberries for a great later summer dessert.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
Great starter recipe I love that most of us have the ingredients on hand in our kitchens. I made it the other night as written and was perfect for a cold winter night. Next time I will add a few extra ingredients but overall great as is! TY

Chile Colorado

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
Had this a lot in New Mexico with Pork. One place I loved and quite famous can't remember the name outside of Santa Fe. They would serve it with fried shredded hash browns, the saucy meat rolled inside a flour tortilla and topped with sour cream and some extra sauce. Delicious! We love this recipe TY

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
This recipe was really good! My new favorite banana nut bread recipe this is a real keeper. I did however mix it up differently. I first cream the butter then added the sugars I used half brown half white sugar, then add eggs one at a time twhen mixed up alternate your dry ingredients in thirds until incorporated. I also added some extra flavor like teaspoon of Vanilla and teaspoon or two of cinnamon. The crust was great. In fact off to the kitchen to break into second loaf!

English Royalty Chocolate Chip Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Super easy and very tasty without being to dry! I timed myself from the start. It took me 12 minutes to put together get in oven, clean up mess then another 11 to 12 minutes for baking time. Thats it! Oh try and make sure you put in middle of the oven so thay don't over brown and burn your chips.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Fantastic Pumpkin recipe! I was a bit worried with the stiffness of the batter but they came out perfect. I used the Crystalized Ginger and not shyly and think it is the perfect spicy counterpoint to the the earthy tastes of the pumpkin and aromatic spices. Love Love this recipe. Thank You!

Taiwanese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
These were so easy and tasty. Only thing I did different was used honey instead of sugar. Had a little trouble with the crust sticking but think I can do better next time. I cut the chops in strips and served with sticky rice much like I would get in Thailand. Even though these are called Taiwanese Pork Chops they do a version of these all over SE Asia.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
Today in Oahu someone gave me some ONO much like Mahi Mahi. I followed recipe but steamed it in foil on the grill. It was very good but wish I would have pan fried it then finished with the glaze sure it would be fantastic! Happy with how it did come out but think the pan fry will give it that extra something with a slightly crispy edge. A Keeper!
