About this Cook
I am a 64 year old wife, mother of 4 and grandmother of 8. I have been married 40 + years to the same man. I enjoy church activites, yard sales. shopping, eating out and of course cooking. I have been richly blessed, though I have had my burdens.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking anything. But my favorite type of cooking is for others. The children at church, friends, family, the sick. Just give me a reason and I will cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pitch in's at children's homes.
My cooking triumphs
The Croissants I baked tonight.
My cooking tragedies
When I first married I spent oodles of money trying to make a better pie than my new husband could. He had worked in resaurants, cooked in the Army, and bakeries. I had never boiled water. And the pie you could have thrown through the thin wall of our apartment. He still teases me about it.

Easy Turkey Tetrazzini
We love this and everywhere I've taken it I have been ask for the recipe. I tell them "It is an old family favorite Internet recipe". LOL! I have been making it for some time and forgot to rate it. I make it more often with Chicken. Thanks for a real keeper. The nice thing is I have an extra pan to share with family or friends.

Puppy Chow
I made a double batch of this, this afternoon. For church bus kids tomorrow. Using the butter, vanilla, and brown grocery bag. With 8 cups of cereal. I had enough for 15 1 cup servings and a small bowl left over. It is delicious but rich. So it will last even longer as it doesn't take as much to fill us up. Thanks for the easy, delicious recipe.
