Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
AMAZING!!! We had a pot luck and someone from work brought this in; after the first bite, I was asking for the recipe! She made two small changes: She used red grapes rather than green, and for display purposes, after she sprinkled the brown sugar and pecans, she didn't mix it. I can't wait to make this for my family!

Fabulous Fudge Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
WOW! What an AMAZING cake! This was my first "from scratch" cake, and as long as you follow the directions as written, this is a cake that will come out perfect! I also made my frosting from scratch (the reason I decided to start making cakes from scratch) & found that I could eat this cake without the frosting! Don't let the color of the batter when it's mixed fool you... it was as dark, and tasty as the picture showed! Oh! I used two 9 x 1 pans, so I want to say it took a little less time to cook. I started really watching after 20 minutes or so.

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
This is the best pie crust I've ever had-buttery, flaky, and just plain amazing. I get nothing but compliments on my pies thanks to this recipe... If you don't have a good crust, you don't have a good pie. I've used it for every pie-from fruit to cream, and it comes out perfect every time.

Roasted Red Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
I was a guest at a BBQ & decided to try this. I hit it out of the park, taking this salad... I made a couple modifications - omitted the eggs because I wasn't sure if where I was going were fans of boiled eggs, and I added more bacon, then seasoned it with onion salt, and garlic powder. I also par boiled the potatoes, then put them in the oven drizzled with the E.V.O.O. sprinkling with natural sea salt and pepper.

Chicken Parmesan Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
Very good. You can use any sauce you want, though. I used hunts. And only because we're mushroom fanatics, I added sauteed baby portabello mushrooms. Even without, I would make this again. My grown daughters words "This is really good, mom."

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2012
This was an AMAZING recipe! While I prefer making my own alfredo sauce, this was a "do it again" recipe. Even my husband, who doesn't like alfredo sauce enjoyed it! The picture showed tomatoes, but they weren't listed in the ingredients, so I added them (after I mixed it all together in the bowl, so they were firm, but warmed.)Then I sprinkled an Italian shredded cheese blend on top of each serving for appearances.

Easy Alfredo Sauce III

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2012
Good sauce, but very touchy on the temp. Mine, like others came out lumpy, or "gritty", as the chesse didn't melt smoothly. All in all, however, it was a good sauce.

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
This soup is AMAZING! Perfect for cold nights, and was so flavorful! I would have liked it to come out a bit thicker, but taste wise, I have to give it 5 *'s!
