Homemade Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

I make these ALL the time. I use butter instead of shortening, and I only use 2 eggs and 1/2 c butter. I love using cream cheese frosting in the middle. YUM!

Diane's German Chocolate Cake

This turned out great! Very luscious and velvety. I froze the cake a week early and let it thaw for a few hours before serving. I made the frosting fresh. With the frosting, I added 4 cups of coconut, because my husband likes it super thick and coco-nutty.

Lentil Soup

I LOVED this after I made suggested changes!! I needed to use up zucchini so I added it, and it was great. I doubled the spices and the amount of carrots, but other than that it was the same! This almost tasted like a meaty stew!

Applesauce Cake VI

I made this recipe and used a cream-cheese frosting with a touch of lemon juice in it, and it was a big hit! I made it for 10 ladies at a nursing home and they are quick to say they don't like something, but they actually enjoyed this alot. I even caught a worker licking the pan for the cream cheese frosting---the frosting made it so much tastier.

Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

For some reason this was super dense and tasted very bland, even after I added 1 T of pumpkin pie spice like a use suggested. Not a big fan.

These turned out great! Ate them ALL! I put them in for 7 minutes like another reviewer said, and they were not done cooking. Since I'm at a higher altitude, I think I needed to cook them even longer than 10 minutes.

Red Lentil Curry

This was way too chili-tasting. I like curries where you can taste the curry. My husband and I were kind of dissappointed. I would try this again, but I would not put any chili powder in there at all, and more ginger.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

I loved this! It tasted just like the restaurant. I halved the recipe for me and my husband. The only thing I did different was that I pounded the chicken breast thin and then cut it into strips, because that is what they did at the restaurant I saw this at. I used Brown Basmati rice to make it somewhat-healthy. Thanks so much for this recipe!! I was craving this for DAYS.
