This was delicious! I made it as written for our homeschool co-op and it was devoured. Thanks!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
The first few times I made these I added some of the tweaks (more sugar, more vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg). This time I followed the last few reviewers advice and made the recipe exactly as written, directions and all....OH MY! These are fabulous!!! No tweaks are needed, but you must follow the instructions!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
This cake is great! I tried to do the decreased oil and increased milk and it was good, however, it doesn't stand up as well to fondant work. Made with the full cup of oil (I used mini chips so the big ones wouldn't sink), it stacks perfectly! I used a peanut butter buttercream and chocolate ganache, it was heaven!

Asparagus Crab Omelets

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
These are amazing. I made it just like written, except I used real crab, because thats what I had leftover, and if you can afford it, its totally worth it! This makes huge omelets! I made 3 out of this recipe, and they were still almost too big (but soooo good!)

Soft Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
These are so good. I was looking for a soft ginger molasses cookie like I can get at the coffee shop. These are it! I added some freshly minced ginger and it made them even better!

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
I can see how you can go through a loaf a day! This is great bread! I made mine half whole wheat/half bread flour, but I am positive it would be even better with all bread flour. Yum Yum, thanks!

Steakhouse Black Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
So Yummy! Make it exactly as written, you won't be sorry! I live in remote Alaska where we don't have Steakhouses, but this gets my fix all taken care of!

Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
Yum, this is great! I added the full can of pumpkin, because I'm nutty and I love pumpkin. Also, whoever suggested the scoop, genius! The batter is loose, but the scoop makes them uniform. I have little domes and they aren't all perfect size, but no one will care that they aren't perfect, they taste amazing!!!!

Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
These are fantastic! I made them as written minus two ingredients (only because I didn't have them, but I know they would be great with them too!)...try them, light, fluffy, and as close to Olive Garden bottomless breadsticks as you can get!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Exactly what I was looking for. I used buttermilk instead of milk and vinegar (sour milk and buttermilk can be interchanged), these were fantastic! Eat with a little heated real maple syrup.

Simple Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
I add fresh blueberries instead of raisins and these are my favorite! They aren't dry like other scones. They won me first prize at the fair last weekend, make them exactly as written, with or without added fruit!

Cake with Buttercream Decorating Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
I could eat this by the spoonful! I love buttercream anyway but have never done my own. I made it exactly following the directions (actually I think I added a little more vanilla, but I tend to just let it run over my measuring spoon when I bake anyway), but it is soooo good!

These were exceptional. I made it exactly how it is written but decreased the poppy seeds by half like suggested. These were so moist and yummy!

Wazzu Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I just won our chili cookoff with this recipe. I got some amazing reviews with it. I ended up having to use Serrano peppers for the habanero (because I live on a small island in Alaska), and I did trade one of the cans of chili beans for kidney beans, but I followed it exactly otherwise. Great recipe!

Cajun Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
This was a great deviled egg recipe. I was looking for a way to spice up the old standby and this was perfect. I don't like adding salt to almost all of my recipes, so I didn't and it was perfect.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This was by far and away the best dessert I have had in a long time. You definitely have to try the devil's food cake mix and that ganache frosting as suggested by another reviewer, they were phenomenal. Also make sure you follow the directions, freeze the dough and only bake the cupcakes 16-18 minutes, they were perfectly moist, it was amazing!
