Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This recipe is definitely restaurant quality. I made exactly how it is written EXCEPT I only used about 1/2 tsp salt in the marinade and even less in the sauce. It was perfect. I love spicy food and this was about at my limit, those who like it less spicy should hold off on the full amount of cayenne or jalapeno.

Microwave Pralines

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Super easy, but after adding the vanilla the mix began to dry up almost right away. By the time I got them all onto the paper they were totally dry. But they still tasted really really good, not grainy or chewy at all!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Great recipe. The Dijon really gives it a little something extra and a delicious flavor. I love garlic so I usually put extra in, and I also put some white wine into the sauce and sprinkle a little bit of breadcrumbs on the shrimp so the sauce will "stick" a bit more to the shrimp. I also love that this recipe is totally foolproof and quick to prepare.

AWESOME recipe, I love garlic so I make it with fresh garlic instead of roasted and it's great.

Baked Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
I have been looking for this exact version of rice pudding for MONTHS - this recipe is very similar to the one my mother used to make. This is supposed to be a dry baked pudding (NOT creamy stovetop style) and it is fabulous just as the recipe is. For those that find it "dry," in my family we always poured half and half over the pudding to serve it and it was soooo good. The only change was that I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg but that's my taste preference. Perfect, thank you so much for this recipe!
