Cheese Please Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Excellent recipe! I made this for a fondue party and it was a hit! Everyone loved it and it was great with bread cubes, shrimp and crab lumps. I garnished the fondue with some sliced green onions, which accented the taste. You don't really need a fondue pot; it was just fine in a mini-slow cooker. Like the other reviewer said, I'd give this recipe 10 stars if I could.

Broccoli Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
I give this recipe five stars because it is so easy to make and the kids really liked it. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and baked the hash brown "crust" for 10 minutes in the oven before I added the rest of the ingredients. I didn't have sour cream on hand, so I substituted two cups of cottage cheese. Can we say "heart-healthy" and "low-fat delicious"? It turned out great! The next time I make this dish, I'd like to add some diced ham, green peppers, mushrooms, etc. It's a great brunch dish for company, especially if you need something quick and easy.

Pork Chops with Mushroom Onion Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
My kids loved it!! Didn't use marjoram b/c they're not fond of spices, but did use the salt and pepper. It was great all the same! Served it with homemade mashed potatoes. Yummy comfort food on a cold winter's night!

Quick Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
If it's 30 minutes to dinner and you need a good meal quick, THIS IS THE ONE! Really couldn't be easier. Any spaghetti sauce will do. Didn't have any mozzarella, so just added more Parmesan cheese. The kids and hubby LOVED it! Tasty, quick, and economical meal. Perfect for a weeknight.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Excellent sauce I've used for two years now. But tonight, the sauce was EXCEPTIONALLY good. I needed a quick pizza type sauce for a baked pasta dish I was making. I used this as the base recipe, added two cloves of garlic, and then an undrained can of diced tomatoes. SUPERB!!!! It worked SO WELL in my pasta bake!! Very flavorful!! My children and hubby LOVED IT!! Thank you for this recipe!

Basmati Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
Excellent, excellent recipe. I didn't have cumin seeds, so I used a 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder. I also used chicken broth in place of the water. It was the most delicious and savory rice I've ever had!! I served it with chicken and veggie kabobs. It turned out well, like a restaurant dish! Thank you for this recipe!!

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
LOVED this enchilada sauce!! Very tasty and easy to make. I love not having to go to the grocery store and buy a jar chock full o' preservatives and chemicals. I added an ounce of dark chocolate, like some suggest--superb! It gave the sauce a delicous complexity. I only used 2 T of chili powder. I didn't have self-rising flour, so used 3 T of regular flour and the sauce turned out fine. This is a WONDERFUL, EASY, DELICIOUS sauce--you really can't go wrong with it! Went great with the cheese enchiladas I made for last night's dinner party. Got LOTS of compliments and a request for the recipe! Thanks for posting!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
This was the most delicous recipe I've ever made!! I was afraid that it would be too chunky because of the tomatoes, but when I added the tomato paste and other spices, everything smoothed out. My family LOVED it! I can see why this recipe has over 700 glowing reviews!!
