About this Cook
Hi, I am a stay at home mom about enter into school for my associates in elamentary education. I have two girls. I am happiley married. I am just mom who struggles each day with the same concern that a lot of other mothers have, "What to fix for dinner". So, that is why I have joined Allrecipes. I have tried a few recipets from the site and I enjoyed fixing them as well as eating them.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make deserts. I also love to make a great meal using my husbands and my kids faverit things. I alway like to try new things, and I especially like to share my recipes with friends and family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas are my faverites because it allows me to share with my friends and family. Also, St. Patricks day.
My cooking triumphs
I mastered my husbands grandmothers Spanish style rice. Took a few tries but I got it. I even added my own twist to it after I mastered the original recipe. Also, my husband and I don't really like frozen or canned green beans. But, I know the neutricional value is very important, so I tinkered with fresh and came up with a recipe that my whole family loves and when I cook them, there are never left overs. Even the kiddos love them.
My cooking tragedies
Bread sticks and truley homemade cookies are my down falls. I can't seem to get them right.

Baked Artichoke Dip
My husband didn't like the mayo so much. So I did again with sour cream and he loved it, everyone one else did too.

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza
I used pre-made pillsberry pizza pie crust because I couldn't find the frozen bread. I also used sweet onion and roasted garlic stewed diced tomatos. I also added about 3 large gloves of sliced garlic to the onion mixture. I also added pepperoni and black olives. Husbands opinion "It's Grrrreat!, you can make this anytime you want Babe". Enough said. The kids loved it too.
