Mom's Stovetop Pork Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
Delicious and so simple. Like the other reviews, it did take longer for all the water to evaporate. I cooked my pork side ribs in a large skillet on high and it took approx. 45 minutes. I didn't have some of the ingredients, so I used lemon juice and dried parsley. It was still great. Next time I'll try fresh limes. This ones a keeper.

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
Delicious and super easy. I made this for Christmas eve and it was nice to just let the slow cooker do the work while I focused on all the other dishes. I used baking potatoes and peeled off all the skin. Instead of the salt and garlic powder, I used a little garlic salt and fresh minced garlic.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
Very good. We eat salmon every week, and I wanted to try a different but easy recipe. I adjusted the amount of oil after reading some of the other reviews. I used 2 TBS olive oil and added 1 TBS of melted butter. I also added lemon pepper in lieu of black pepper. Even my fussy 3.5 yr old ate it all! This is a keeper.

Maple-Garlic Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
Amazing! I've been looking for a good pork tenderloin recipe and this one is a keeper! I didn't have dijon mustard so I used honey mustard and added an extra 1/2 cup of maple syrup. I decided to bake the tenderloin and followed some of the review recommendations. I baked at 375 covered for 45 minutes and uncovered for another 20 min. I also boiled the leftover marinade and basted the tenderloin every 10 min. The pork was so tender and juicy.

Bev's Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
Yummy! I read the other reviews and made some adjustments. I added another cup of orange juice, additional tablespoon of soya sauce and replaced the garlic powder with minced garlic. I also added a teaspoon of ground ginger and chopped green onions. Then I marinated the chicken thighs for 1/2 hour and baked for 45 minutes (basting the chicken every 15 minutes). We had lots of sauce which was great to pour over the rice. My husband loved this dish!
