Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a great cookie! My 5 year old and I made them today and it was a very easy and sgtraight forward recipe. The only thing I could possibly change is to reduce the amount of sugar. I found them super sweet. I didn't add the nuts either because my daughter doesn't like them. Next time I'll try to add just 1/2 cup of white sugar along with the full cup of brown. Over all these cookies were a hit, chrispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yummo!!

Gingersnap Dip

This dip was awesome. I took it to work for a Halloween potluck. I used spice cookies instead of ginger snaps. I followed the recipe using low fat cream cheese and low fat cool whip. No one could tell that this was a low fat dessert. While packing it up, I was even stopped in the hallway and asked for more. Even the men that I work with were asking for the recipe (which is a rare thing where I work) Thanks so much, this is going to be a staple in my potluck recipe box.

Oven Barbecued Chicken

This was great. My husband really enjoyed it too. I followed the recipe with a couple of exceptions. I didn't have any ground mustard so I used about 1 tbsp of prepared and I also mixed white wine vinegar with white vinegar about 50/50. Even my three year old loved it.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

AWESOME DRESSING. It got rave reviews even as leftovers the next day. This was the first time I used this recipe and based on the reviews I made some minor adjustments. I saut├ęd the veggies with the butter the night before then refrigerated the mixture. In the morning I just microwaved it to liquify the butter for about 2 1/2 minutes. I'm not an onion lover so I only used about 1 cup of onions and I also used fresh sage and thyme and doubled the amounts of both. I had 4 1/2 cups of broth on hand but only added about 2 1/2 to start then after about an hour I began adding extra to keep it moist with the end total broth used being about 3 1/2 cups. My slow cooker seemes to be really hot even on low so I didn't do the 45 min on high setting. It took only about 4 1/2 hours to cook so I set my slow cooker to warm for 2 hours until dinner was ready. All in all it was so simple and tasted really great.
