My favorite family cooking traditions
On the third Thursday of every month, we make homemade chicken broth and everyone stands around the pot simmering on the stove, sipping its chicken goodness through crazy straws, humming the Star Spangled Banner. It provides a kind of festive soundtrack and it's also good for you!
My cooking triumphs
Once, I experimented with a homemade buffalo wing sauce, adding it to a saute pan with penne and vegetables. I really should make it again!
My cooking tragedies
Just a few, and while they were tragedies, they're likely not interesting to anyone.

Buffalo Cauliflower
We made these and they were quite good. I'm not sure the batter at the beginning is necessary. They could be just as good roasted and then finished off with the sauce. But a nice alternative to the vegetarian friends I still have. :)_ (That's wing sauce dripping on my emoji face)
